“The Stone House Restaurant – Community Mind and Spirit”
The Stonehouse Group, Inc., the owner of the Stone House Restaurant,
is made up of a group of like minded people who believe in supporting
the community in which they live and work. As a result, this group
implemented a plan that was a “win – win” situation for the restaurant
and for the community.
The Stone House Restaurant was the first restaurant on the shoreline
to contribute its profits to those organizations on the Connecticut
Shoreline that help those people needing assistance. From A Better
Chance to Women & Family Life Center, the Stone House
Restaurant has donated 5% of its revenues received Tuesdays
during any given month to various not for profit organizations.
Some of the organizations that have received this contribution
include:

A Better Chance of Madison
The Guilford Handcraft Center
The Guilford Rotary
The Dana Farber Gillette Women’s Cancer Center
The Shoreline Arts Alliance
The American Liver Foundation
The Breaking Barriers Foundation
Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital
The Guilford Preservation Alliance

 In addition, The Stone House has donated catered dinners and cocktail parties to various organizations including the Shoreline Arts Alliance, the American Liver Foundation and the Guilford Chamber of Commerce.
By supporting those organizations that provide support to those shoreline individuals in need, the Stone House Restaurant acts as a pillar of the community.
